You need a cheap private room right in central Singapore? This is it. People seem to either love or hate this place. I loved it. Bang for the buck you couldn't do better. Upsides: My room was extremely clean, shower and everything in bathroom worked extremely well, A/C worked extremely well. There is an MRT stop right across the street. Also bus stop-- though I didn't use the bus. You are right on the edge of Little India, so plenty to do and explore right there. "Coffee" shop with lots of exotic fruit drinks, pastries and Indian snacks right next door--- and extremely inexpensive. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Right across Rochor Road are a bunch of excellent non-Indian restaurants if you want other food. Walking distance to much of central Singapore. For the price, I'd be surprised you could find anything better.

They were able to accommodate our requests, and the staff are very responsive and helpful whenever we have questions. They provide free coffee/tea/water in the lobby. We were also able to wash our clothes for free (self service, there was a line at night). We stayed for 3nights and they removed the trash on the second day (they asked permission), they even checked if we want to change towels. The location is good, there are eateries and restaurants near the place, and it is also just in front of a bus station and near several MRT stations. Easy check in and check out process.

When we got to reception, the staff moved us to a bigger room as my partner is 2 metres tall so we got a big enough room for the two of us and the suitcases. It was hot and humid but we had aircon so it made it much better. He also helped us bring the heavy luggage upstairs, which was amazing because there was no lift. Located just out of Little India in a big street with a lot of restaurant and shop options. Walking distance to the city centre if you don't mind long walks but the train station is literally two minutes walking if prefered.

Hatta on reception was super helpful, being a foreigner requires much incidental info of where to go and what to do When I searched and sussed the rates werent as high as comparable choices...and considering I was really only reading good reviews ...I thought it somehow wouldnt stackup. But it did ! All the hospitality boxes are ticked .....there are no let downs. For my week ...rain highlighted how super close and handy is the MRT & various bus...AND so manÿ eating places. Little India is without queston the most interestiing sector

Their small solo room is just good enough for single traveller and it was surprisingly comfortable. I was able to rest well. Staff was very nice and friendly and they even offered me a kettle upon learning that I drink tea at night. Place is within the indian community and is very accessible to mrt and buses. Would highly recommend this Hotel to solo travellers and will defenitely stay here again when I get back to SG.
